Começa hoje no Centro Cultural Fiesp na Avenida Paulista, o File 2008 (Festival Internacional de Linguagem Eletrônica).
Desculpem-me pela ignorancia, mas eu não conhecia o evento. Descobri que se trata de "vários festivais simultâneos: de música eletrônica, de games, inovações e grafites eletrônicos, além de cinema digital e documental" conforme o site da Fiesp.
Mas o que mais me chamou a atenção foi o Cinema Digital, dotado de um projetor da Sony que reproduz 8 milhões de pixels por frame. Isso significa uma imagem 4x melhor do que midias em BluRay, o que soa absurdo para quem já está familiarizado com o formato do laser azul.
Ao que tudo indica, este projetor custa aproximadamente 126k dolares nos EUA. E significa o fim das atrizes acabadinhas de Hollywood que usavam quilos de maquiagem como muleta. Além de uma sobrevida para um produto que estava praticamente fadado ao esquecimento com a evolução das grandes flat TVs, sejam LCD, Plasma, Oled ou qualquer outra tecnologia.
